Lithuania

Long-term Work Permit Process:

Requirements:

Job offer from a Lithuanian employer
Relevant qualifications
Valid passport and clean criminal record

Process:

1Employer applies for work permit at the Lithuanian Migration Department
2Processing takes 2-4 weeks
3You apply for a National Visa (D type) at the Lithuanian embassy
4Travel to Lithuania and register for temporary residence permit
5Residence permit issued for the duration of the work contract

Latvia

Packages: Work Permit 1 year (EUR 1,550) Note: Seasonal Work Permit 90 days (EUR 2,900) is CURRENTLY CLOSED.

1-Year Work Permit Process:

Requirements:

Job offer from a Latvian employer
Employer must register the vacancy with the State Employment Agency
Relevant qualifications
Clean criminal record

Process:

1Employer registers vacancy and applies for work permit approval
2Citizenship and Migration Affairs Office processes the application (2-6 weeks)
3You apply for a long-stay visa at the Latvian embassy
4Travel to Latvia and register for residence permit
5Residence permit issued for 1 year (renewable)

Estonia

Package: Work Permit Long-stay D Visa (EUR 1,500)

Process:

1Employer applies for short-term employment registration with the Estonian Police and Border Guard
2Processing takes 4-8 weeks
3You apply for a D Visa at the Estonian embassy
4Travel to Estonia and register
5Apply for temporary residence permit if staying longer than 1 year

Belarus

Package: Work Permit (EUR 1,900), Registration Support (EUR 150)

Process:

1Employer obtains special permit from the Department of Citizenship and Migration
2Work permit processing takes 3-6 weeks
3You apply for a visa at the Belarusian embassy
4Travel to Belarus and register

Ukraine

Package: Work Permit (EUR 1,400), Registration Support (EUR 150)

Process:

1Employer applies for work permit at the State Employment Centre
2Processing takes 2-4 weeks
3You apply for a D visa at the Ukrainian embassy
4Travel and register

Armenia

Package: Work Permit (EUR 1,400)

Process:

1Employer applies for work permit through the Ministry of Labour
2Processing takes 2-4 weeks (one of the fastest)
3Visa application at the Armenian embassy (or visa on arrival for many nationalities)
4Travel and register
