How Workium's job matching works in detail, what to expect during the visa processing stage, and how to track your progress.
Job Matching and Visa Processing
Job matching is a core part of every Workium package and one of the most valuable services we provide. Here is exactly how it works.
Job Matching Process in Detail
1Profile Assessment (Day 1-5): Your caseworker reviews your qualifications, work experience, skills, preferences, and career goals. They identify the best job categories and employers for your profile.
2Employer Search (Ongoing): Our employer relations team maintains relationships with verified employers across all 24 destination countries. They identify suitable vacancies and match them with candidates in our pipeline.
3Application Preparation (1-2 weeks): We prepare tailored applications for each suitable vacancy, including:
Customised cover letters highlighting your relevant experience
CV formatted to the employer's country standards
Supporting documentation as required by the employer
4Application Submission: We submit applications to suitable employers on your behalf and manage all communication.
5Interview Coordination: When employers express interest, we:
Schedule interviews at times that work for both parties
Provide interview preparation guidance
Brief you on the company, role, and what to expect
Support with video call setup and technology
6Offer Negotiation: When you receive a job offer, we:
Review the offer terms and employment contract
Advise on salary, benefits, and conditions
Help negotiate if needed
Ensure the offer meets visa requirements (salary thresholds, etc.)
Available Positions
Current job openings are listed at https://workium.co.uk/vacancies. These are real, employer-verified positions. New vacancies are added regularly across all sectors.
Visa Processing Steps (After Job Offer)
Once you have an accepted job offer:
1Work Permit Application: Your employer (with our support and guidance) applies for a work permit through the relevant immigration authority.
2Government Processing: The immigration authority reviews the application, conducts checks, and issues a decision. Processing times vary by country.
3Permit Approval: You receive confirmation that your work permit has been approved.
4Visa Application: You apply for your visa at the embassy or consulate in your country, submitting all required documents.
5Biometrics: Attend a biometric appointment for fingerprints and photo if required.
6Visa Decision: The embassy communicates the decision (typically by email or through the visa application centre).
7Travel Planning: Once approved, arrange travel, accommodation, and prepare for departure.
