A walkthrough of every tab inside the Global Mobility workspace: Overview, Cases, Assessments, Documents, Compliance, Sponsor Licences, Permits/CoS, Eligibility, Renewals, Salary Checker, Team, and Analytics.
Global Mobility Workspace — Complete Guide
The Global Mobility workspace is the deepest of the three Workium Business workspaces. It supports 15 destination countries and dozens of visa routes. Here is what every tab does.
Your home page. Shows four KPI cards (Active Cases, Completed, Pending Docs, Team Members), four quick-action buttons (New case, Upload document, Run assessment, View compliance), a Recent Cases feed and a Compliance snapshot card. Click any KPI to jump to the matching tab.
The employee-level visa pipeline. Each case represents one employee being relocated or sponsored. Fields include employee name and email, destination country, visa type, status, notes and dates. Click 'New Case' to add one. Status moves through submitted → in_progress → approved → completed (or cancelled).
Quick eligibility checks for an employee profile against a destination country. Inputs include nationality, education level, salary range, years of experience and target country. Output: a recommendation card with visa route, estimated timeline and the result (eligible / borderline / ineligible).
The document wallet. Upload passports, employment contracts, qualification certificates, proof of address, bank statements, CVs, photos and other documents. Each document is associated with a specific employee and stored securely on Wasabi S3.
The compliance dashboard. Three sections:
This tab is where compliance leads spend most of their time.
A per-country licence registry. For each of the 15 supported countries, register your sponsor licence (or equivalent: IND Recognised Sponsor in NL, Atypical Employer in IE, Vorabzustimmung in DE, etc.) with licence number, status, issued/expiry dates, allocation totals and SMS users. UK A/B rating is supported. UK CoS allocation auto-decrements when you mark a permit as 'issued'.
Generic sponsorship-document workflow that covers UK CoS, German Vorabzustimmung, Irish Employment Permit, Dutch HSM contract, etc. Each permit is created from an employee profile, automatically validated against the country's salary threshold for the chosen route, and progresses through draft → issued → assigned → used → withdrawn / expired. Status changes are logged with timestamps.
The multi-country scoring wizard. Enter a salary, currency, frequency, qualifications, age and job-offer status. Click 'Run eligibility'. The wizard scores the profile against every supported route across every country (or a country subset) and returns a sorted list — eligible first, then borderline, then ineligible. Each row shows the score (0-100), salary gap percentage and qualification warnings.
Finds visa cases with expiry dates falling inside a configurable window (60 / 120 / 180 / 365 days). Each row shows the days-until-expiry against the country's renewal lead-time (60 days for SE/NL/PT/LT etc., 90 days for UK/DE/IE). Cases past the lead-time are flagged 'due to start'. Click 'Start renewal' to spin up a renewal case linked to the parent.
Quick utility: pick a country, pick a visa route, enter a salary and frequency, click 'Check threshold'. Returns a verdict (eligible / below_threshold / needs_currency_conversion) plus the threshold annual figure for comparison.
Manage who from your company has access to the dashboard. Add team members by email; they receive an invite link. Roles and granular permissions are coming soon — currently all members share the business account.
Program-level KPIs. Total cases by status, average processing time, top destination countries, top visa routes and conversion rate from assessment to issued permit. Useful for monthly leadership reporting.
