Zero Deposit pricing is structured into two milestone-linked payments: Payment 1 is due 5 days after your employment documents and work-permit authorisations are issued and verified; Payment 2 is due 5 days after your visa is issued. The exact amounts depend on the destination programme and the matched Partner Agency. Government, embassy, courier and translation fees are extra.
The two-milestone model
The Zero Deposit Program splits the total Service fee into two milestone-linked payments. Nothing is due at signing.
Payment 1 — issued AFTER your employment documents and work-permit authorisation are issued and verified inside your Workium dashboard. Due within 5 calendar days of the dashboard notification.
Payment 2 — issued AFTER your work or residence visa is issued. Due within 5 calendar days of the dashboard notification.
Germany — Work Permit + ZAV: €1,300 (P1) + €1,300 (P2) = €2,600 total. Serbia — Work Permit: €900 (P1) + €1,200 (P2) = €2,100 total. Bulgaria — 3-Month Seasonal: €1,100 (P1) + €1,100 (P2) = €2,200 total. Hungary — Work Visa D: €1,050 (P1) + €1,300 (P2) = €2,350 total. Finland — Work Permit: €1,600 (P1) + €2,800 (P2) = €4,400 total.
These reference fees show the Workium ceiling for each programme. Your actual Partner Agency may charge less. The exact fee you owe is shown on your Zero Deposit dashboard the moment your match is confirmed — that figure is the figure you pay. Workium has corrected an earlier bug where some dashboards still showed the reference fee instead of the agency fee; if you ever see two different figures, contact billing@workium.co.uk.
The Workium Service fee covers our verification, matching, document procurement, employer liaison, work-permit lodging, visa-application coordination and in-country setup. It does NOT include: • Government, embassy and consulate fees (typically €60–€350 depending on country). • Biometric appointment fees (€50–€80). • Certified-translation fees for non-EU/UK source documents (€20–€60 per page). • Courier costs for original-document movement (€30–€60). • Medical examination fees beyond a basic certificate. • Vaccination costs. • Police-clearance fees (issued by your home country).
These are paid by you directly to the relevant authority or supplier. Your Partner Agency will quote a typical total before each milestone so there are no surprises.
Milestone payments are processed by secure card payment through Stripe Checkout directly from your Workium dashboard. Click 'Pay invoice 1' (or 'Pay invoice 2'), enter your card details, and you receive an emailed PDF receipt within 5 minutes. Workium does NOT store your card details.
If you settle in a currency other than the invoice currency (EUR), Workium adds a 4% FX surcharge to cover the conversion spread. You always see the final amount in your settlement currency at checkout before confirming.
If Payment 1 or Payment 2 is not received by its due date: • The Programme is automatically paused. No further work is performed on your case until the default is cured. • Interest accrues at 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, compounded monthly. • A fixed admin fee of €50 per overdue invoice may be charged. • If more than 14 calendar days overdue, Workium may treat the agreement as repudiated, terminate the programme, recover the outstanding milestone and accrued costs, and (where lawful) report the default to credit reference agencies. • Workium reserves the right to commence civil-recovery proceedings in the courts of England and Wales — by signing your agreement, you have submitted to that jurisdiction for the purpose of debt recovery.
If an amount, currency or due date on your invoice looks wrong, email billing@workium.co.uk BEFORE the due date. We're far more flexible with candidates who flag issues early than with invoices that silently pass.
