Zero Deposit Agency Fee Floor — your fees cannot be below Workium's minimum

3 min read

Every partner agency must charge candidates AT LEAST the Workium reference fee (P1 + P2 combined, in EUR) for each Zero Deposit country programme. You can mark up freely above that floor — the markup is yours to keep. Falling below the floor pauses your visibility in candidate matching until you fix it.

Why we set a fee floor (effective February 2026)

The Workium Zero Deposit Program runs on milestone payments that fund the actual work behind each candidate's case — employer matching, document procurement, work-permit authorisations, visa coordination and in-country liaison. Workium's published Payment 1 and Payment 2 for each country reflect the real, audited cost of running that work. If an agency charges its candidates LESS than the Workium minimum, the work cannot be delivered properly and other partner agencies — who price the work correctly — lose leads to a fee that does not stack up commercially.

From February 2026, every agency on the Partner Network must charge AT LEAST the Workium reference fee for each programme it offers (P1 + P2 combined). You can mark up freely above the floor — the markup is yours to keep, and you can charge in your home currency (EUR, USD, GBP, NGN, KES or GHS).

Workium reference fees (P1 + P2, EUR)

Germany Work Permit + ZAV: €1,300 + €1,300 = €2,600 total
Serbia Work Permit: €900 + €1,200 = €2,100 total
Bulgaria 3-Month Seasonal Work Permit: €1,100 + €1,100 = €2,200 total
Hungary Work Visa D: €1,050 + €1,300 = €2,350 total
Finland Seasonal Work: €1,600 + €2,800 = €4,400 total

You are free to publish the same totals or higher. Charging less than these EUR totals (after currency conversion) is not permitted and will not be accepted by the dashboard.

Multi-currency support and how we convert

We know agencies invoice in different currencies — that is fine. When you save your fees, our system converts each programme's total to EUR using a live FX rate (with a static fallback if the live API is unreachable). The converted EUR total is then compared to the Workium minimum above.

A small 1% buffer is applied in your favour, so day-to-day FX drift will not trip the check. If your fees sit very close to the floor it is wise to leave a small margin above to absorb FX moves between saves.

What happens if your fees fall below the floor

On save: the dashboard rejects the save and shows exactly which programme is below and by how much (in EUR), so you can fix the line item immediately.

On an existing profile: if Workium runs a periodic sweep and finds your published fees are below the floor (for example, because FX moved, or because Workium's reference fees were updated), we will:

1Flag your profile (you'll see a banner on the Zero Deposit tab listing each programme below floor).
2Pause your visibility in the candidate matching engine, so no new candidate can pick your agency until your fees are fixed.
3Email your registered agency contact ONCE with the full breakdown (programme name, your total, Workium minimum, shortfall) so you have everything you need to fix it. We will not re-spam — one email per unresolved breach.

How to fix it

Log in to your Agency Dashboard → Zero Deposit → Programme Fees, raise your Payment 1 + Payment 2 for each affected country to at least the Workium minimum (above is fine, the markup is yours), and save. The save will clear the flag, restore your visibility in matching, and unpause new lead routing immediately.

Questions

If you disagree with a flag (for example, you believe the FX conversion is wrong, or you have a commercial agreement in place that allows a lower charge), email billing@workium.co.uk before changing your fees so we can review your case. Do not lower your fees back down to argue the point — that simply re-pauses you.
